Hi. I’m Tad.

I opened Blue Ridge Custom Designs in September of 1996. At that time, I already had several years’ experience as a production manager and digitizer, and we had had enough of the “big city.” Since then, I’ve been providing high-end digitizing to embroidery companies around the US.

In August 2019, I added production-embroidery to my business offering, with the intention of making great embroidery more convenient and accessible to garment resellers in the Roanoke Valley and beyond.

As the parent of grown special-needs children, I’m too familiar with some of the challenges these kids will face when they grow up. As Blue Ridge Custom Designs grows, my personal goal is to make sure we are always situated in a community that will give employment access to some of these individuals.
